Opened in 1969, Scotland’s major fresh produce market operates from a 32-acre site at junction 14 on the M8. Our tenant companies supply fresh fruit, vegetables, fish and flowers to a large number of independent retailers, caterers, restaurants, hotels and processors throughout Central and West Scotland.
Comprising of 46 fruit & veg single stances and 6 stances within Scotland’s only inland fish market, over 2 million tons of produce from around the world goes through the market each year, equating to an annual turnover of £250M and 1,000 vehicle movements per day.
